The Livery Line ("we," "this site") is an informational publication for California livery and rideshare drivers. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, and how it's used.
Information we collect
Information you provide. If you subscribe to the email newsletter, we collect your email address. It is used only to send the newsletter and is never sold or shared for others' marketing.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics (Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic — pages visited, approximate geography, device type, and referral source. Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors.
The appeal letter generator and other tools on this site run entirely in your browser. Text you enter into them is not transmitted to, stored by, or visible to this site.
Advertising
This site displays advertising served by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense and/or a managed ad partner). These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites (interest-based advertising).
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and others. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of many third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (which, under California law, can include cookie-based ad targeting). To exercise these rights, use the ad-network opt-out links above or contact us at the email below. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Cookies
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Some site features and most personalized advertising will still function without them.
Third-party links
This site links to external sites (the CPUC, ad-network opt-out pages, platforms, and others). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the site's tools and advertising partners change; the effective date above will be revised when we do. Questions or privacy requests: privacy@theliveryline.com.
